These are all original oil paintings, mostly created en plein air (outdoors) and with direct observation of the subject.

Wanting to capture a specific, fleeting moment of light, colour, and atmosphere, I use instinctive, quick brushstrokes that often allow me to complete the painting in a single session (what in Italian is called alla prima).

Most of my paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated but, if you are in the U.K. and want to purchase a framed artwork directly from me, please let me know, as I can provide a framing service at an additional price.​​
