When I lived in Abergavenny I used to walk with my dogs along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Beacons Canal in Llanover. It is a fairytale place, with its meandering path, lush trees and reflecting water. The peace that reigns there is beautiful and dappled light is evetywhere. In this studio painting I wanted to revisiting this place, the moment in time and atmosphere.
