I was really intrigued by the different colours and vegetation that the Spring brought on this painted spot visited and painted in the previous summer. Now there were lighter and brighter greens, little yellow flowers, and the sky peeking through the still quite bare trees. I tried to capture the scene as quickly as possible as I was in full sunshine. Painted en plein air alla prima.
