These original paintings are one-of-a-kind works, mostly created en plein air (outdoors) and with direct observation of the subject.

Wanting to capture a specific, fleeting moment of light, colour, and atmosphere, I use instinctive, quick brushstrokes that often allow me to complete the painting in a single session (what in Italian is called alla prima).
