This watercolour on paper was an experiment as I tried the granulation medium, a "magical" fluid able to fragment colour pigments.
The attraction for me were the yellow flowers, that I tried to make stand out from the darker background of lush trees and the grass.
This picture was made from a photo taken here in Abergavenny on the green slope where I always go with my dogs.
It was summer, so the vegetation was at its best.
