Watercolour on board featuring a stretch of mountain road above my grandma's house in Italy.
Apart from the sentimental link to this place, I was mainly attracted by the variations of green and light and the shadows cast by a warm April afternoon with dogs.
I particularly like the tonality of the ground, obtained by making the paint run with water in the desired direction as well as the green colours on the slope.
